Role
Improving the reliability enhance the user experience, avoiding defects and reducing the environmental impact by making products more durable. For this reason, BSH participates in the iRel4.0 project focusing on the induction hobs and understanding the physical mechanisms of failure of the different components and their modelling to predict and to be able to avoid them.
On the other hand, the systematic application of the V model that enable the optimization of the tests and an intensive use of Artificial Intelligence will allow a better understanding of the real use of our appliances by the final users. The AI crossed with the data that will be generated through the value chain of the induction hobs will be an indispensable support when it comes to improve reliability.
Key contribution
BSH will help to predict and define different needs for future ECS applications through different systems and ML/AI techniques. It will be able to know the load that a specific electronic component will be subjected and by this, the reliability of a product will be improved.
Applying Quality 4.0 enable crossing data from different sources and Artificial Intelligence establishing a system that gathers the necessary information that can find failure patterns and actions that enhance the reliability of the products.
BSH will develop a system that treats with AI techniques the gathered information from different sources creating a database that can detect critical issues in all the value chain of a product.
